Margaret C. (Corcoran) White

Margaret C. (nee Corcoran) aka "Peg" White, of Exton, passed away on March 13, 2023. Formerly of West Philadelphia and Upper Darby, PA.  Beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Corcoran.  Loving Mother of Michael, John (Sinead), Pat (Kristen), and Paul and the late Tom White. Loving Grandmother of Andrew and the late Regan.  Loving sister of Kathleen Reinecker, Patsy Charno, Tom Corcoran, John Corcoran and the late Eileen Saunders.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

  Peg grew up in West Philadelphia and was a very proud graduate of Transfiguration Grade School and West Catholic High School for Girls.  After starting her family in Southwest Philadelphia, in MBS parish, she made the move with her boys to the Bywood area of Upper Darby and the parish of St. Alice in the early 70s.  The single mother of 5 boys, Peg worked days and nights to provide for her boys.  She also had the help of her brothers, sisters and in particular her mother Mary.  They made it work.

A long time employee of Smithkline, now Glaxo Smithkline, she previously worked at Schnader, Harris Segal and Lewis law firm.  Peg eventually moved out to the West Chester/Exton area in the mid 90s.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation 5:30-7:30 P.M. Sunday, March 19th at the Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Road, Broomall, PA  19008 and 10-10:45 A.M. on Monday, March 20th at Saint Denis Church, 2401 St. Denis Lane, Havertown, PA  19083 followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M.  Interment Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA  19064.
