Shannon K. Lafferty

Shannon K. Lafferty, 30, of Exton, PA passed away Saturday, November 18th, 2017 when her vehicle was struck by a drunk driver while riding home from a Christmas tree lighting celebration with her long-time boyfriend Saheem Davis and their daughter Audrianna Davis.  She was the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth (nee Groff) Lafferty of Elverson, PA.  Shannon was a 2005 Graduate of Downingtown East High School and a 2009 Graduate of Delaware Valley University with a BS in Animal Biotechnology and Conservation.

Shannon was a beautiful person who dedicated her life to caring for others, especially children as a Nanny and the elderly as a Home Health Aide.  She loved animals and saw beauty in the little things in life.  She was especially proud of her Irish heritage and Catholic faith.  Above all, Shannon loved her family and being a mommy to her pride and joy Audri, who never left her side.

She is survived by the love of her life Saheem , daughter Audrianna, stepson Amari, parents Robert and Elizabeth, siblings Douglas (Cherry), Dan (Rebecca),  and sister & best friend Colleen (Joel) Urbine  as well as her nieces, nephews, countless friends, co-workers, and family members she cherished.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing  at the Logan Funeral Home at 698 E Lincoln Hwy, Exton, PA on Monday, Nov.  27th from 6-9 PM .  A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, Nov. 28th at 11 AM at Saints Philip and James Church , 107 N Ship Rd, Exton, PA.  A short viewing will be held  9:30-10:45 AM at the Church prior to the service.  Interment St. Agnes Cemetery.
