It was my privilege to have served with Doris during her years of service with NAMI. She was a smart, lovely, warm lady whose presence will be missed by all of us.

My sincerest sympathy to Doris’ family. From 1997 to 2017 she was a dear person to me. She had an open door and impeccable hostess skills for when we served on the NAMI newsletter committee and celebrated holidays together. I appreciate that she embraced the relationship between her son, Thomas, and me, particularly in making the transition of Tom and me settling down in Huntingdon, PA where Doris was raised. --Christine Holst

So sorry to hear of Doris's passing. She was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. One of the nicest and most generous people I have ever met. She surely will be met at those pearly gates. She will be dearly missed. Chrisie
