I'm very sorry for your loss. I was reading the Inquire today and accidentally stumbled on Bob's obituary. I was very sad to see this. I worked with Bob many years ago when he and I worked at Penn Central railroad (Conrail). Actually he was very instrumental in hiring me into my first real IT job. I had already accepted a job at a very small IT shop in Pottstown but had not yet started. A possible position opened up at Penn Central railroad and I received a call from Bob on a Tuesday asking if I wanted to interview for the job. I told him I was ready to start a new job that coming Monday. He uttered a few key words that more than likely changed my entire IT future. He said "It doesn't hurt to talk!!" With those words, I took the interview on that Thursday, got the job at the railroad and 40 plus years later have now retired from my very successful IT career. I still to this day periodically reference those words and Bob in particular. I thought you would like to know how much he influenced my life and I'm sure many others.
