Mr. Nolan had the kind of character & integrity years. As idealistic kids of the 70s, he always supported ideas from students trying to make the school a better place...
Legend had it that you might get to hear him sing a fine version of Danny Boy at the end of the school year, and sure enough we got treated to it on more than one occasion.
...though Yeadon may be flushed and white with snow tonight, we hope always for you that summer's in the meadow...
