Edward F. McCarthy

Edward Francis McCarthy of Berwyn, PA, formerly of Syracuse, NY, passed away on February 13, 2017 at the age of 87. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Mary Antonia (nee Walier).  Devoted father of E. Michael (Debbie), Paul (Gail), Karen McCarthy, John (Jeanne), Brian (Sandy), and Susan(Peter) Kohli.  Edward is also survived by 18 dear grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brothers James and Donald, and his sister Betty Anne.

Edward was born in Syracuse NY in 1929.  He graduated from Le Moyne College and worked for General Electric Aerospace for 45 years. He moved his family to Berwyn in 1966.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at St Norbert Church, 50 Leopard Road, Paoli, PA 19301. Interment will follow at St. Monica's Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation preceding the Funeral, beginning at 9:30, at St Norbert Church.
