So sorry for your loss. I just learned of your dad's passing at mass this weekend. He coached us for years back in the early 1980s. May he rest in peace.

Thank you for the privilege of knowing Chuck. He was frightening, tough, dedicated, intense and yet my boys loved him. His passion and tenderness was always tucked away, yet we always sensed who he was. He was such a force, yet when Kathleen joined the angels, he was never the same. I am glad to know he is with her again and I thank you for all his endless service to the Church and community.

We are so sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. We just found this sad news at 6 o'clock tonight. He was a great coach and fierce competitor
His generosity was unmatched
We had some great games at SP&J and at Sallies.
Those who played for Chuck are very fortunate
I had been trying in vain to reach Chuck and am so sorry that I could not be there

Thinking of and praying for the Waddy family, Kathy idolized and deeply loved her father. Will remember his rambunctious laugh, his love of sports and his passion for coaching. Hoping you find peace in your time of sorrow.

On behalf of my family, which is my parents John & Margaret Prendergast, oldest sister Cheryl, and next two younger sisters, Kim and Patty, I want to express our deepest sympathy in this difficult time. He made an impact I promise! The second I saw his pic and that smile we all knew who he was. We lived not far from Exton Little League on Bittersweet Lane and were members at Sts Philip & James. Rest well Mr. Waddy! Your time here on earth was well spent!

My condolences go out to your entire family. I was glad I met this man and had the pleasure of being coached by him for several years. He taught me much about life and about being a man and I will never forget him. He was one of the finest coaches I have ever had and a true legend at P&J for generations of kids. Chuck Waddy you will be missed.
