William Max Jr. Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William J. Max Jr on April 21, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with illness.  He was surrounded by love and will be deeply missed.

William, known to most as Bill, was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend.  While we are saddened by his loss, we find comfort in the memories, laughter, and love he shared with us all.

Bill enjoyed his career as a Technical Account Manager at Microsoft.  His passion, expertise and dedication left a lasting impact on his colleagues and clients.

A lifelong and loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan, Bill bled green and never missed a game.  Whether cheering from the stands in his younger years, or from the family room as his illness progressed, his love for the team was unwavering.

Even in passing, Bill’s legacy includes his generosity as an organ donor.  Despite his illness, he was able to donate organs and tissues – including his corneas, skin grafts and bones – potentially offering the gift of sight, healing and mobility to those in need.

Bill is the eldest of four children of William J. Max Sr and Carole (Clark) Max.  He grew up in Warminster, PA and attended Archbishop Wood High School and Temple University.

Bill is survived by his wife of 31 years, Carol (Jankauskas) Max, his children:  Michelle (Bryan Feret) Max, Courtney Max, and Alisa (Nick Markellos) Max; and his siblings:  Brian (Debbie) Max, Cathy Max Jay and Connie (Eric Leininger) Max; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.  His first grandchild, a granddaughter, is due to arrive this Fall.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held Friday, April 25, 2025 at Logan-Videon Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation 9:30 - 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Road, Broomall, PA  19008 followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to The Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N 3rd St, Philadelphia, PA 19123. https://www.donors1.org/

Bill, you will be forever in our hearts.
