William Coughlin Obituary

William David "Bill" Coughlin, a beacon of love and laughter, departed this life on March 1, 2024, at the age of 92 in Exton, Pennsylvania. Born on July 5, 1931, in Camden, New Jersey, to parents William G. "Bing" and Margaret E. "Peg" (White) Coughlin, Bill's journey was one marked by faith, humor, and an unwavering commitment to family.

Bill's early years in Camden laid a foundation for a life characterized by hard work and dedication. His academic pursuits led him to Villanova University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. This accomplishment set the stage for a successful career as a Consultant in Human Resources, where Bill's unique blend of warmth and wit made him not only a respected professional but also a cherished colleague.

Throughout his life, Bill's personality shone brightly, drawing people to him with his infectious humor and generous spirit. He was often described as loving and funny, with a faith-filled heart that guided his every action. Bill's ability to bring joy to any situation was a gift that he freely shared with everyone he met, leaving a lasting impression on countless lives.

Family was the cornerstone of Bill's world. He was a loving brother, uncle and a proud son. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his beloved sister, Maureen (Coughlin) Kennedy, wife of the late Bill Kennedy, his brother, Brian Coughlin and his half brother, Michael Beach and his wife, Joan. Bill's sister, Patricia "Pat" and her husband, Dr. Phil passed before him. His parents, Bing and Peg, predeceased him, but the values they instilled in him lived on through his actions and the stories he would fondly recount.

Bill's passing marks the end of an era, but his spirit remains a guiding light for all who had the privilege of knowing him. His laughter echoes in the hearts of his friends and family, and his example of kindness and compassion continues to inspire those left to honor his memory.

In the quiet moments, we will find Bill in the stories that make us smile, the acts of kindness that reflect his spirit, and in the unwavering faith that he held so dear. Though he has left our sight, the essence of who he was remains with us, a gentle reminder that love never fades, and laughter is eternal.
