Virginia L. (McKenna) Lott

Virginia L. (nee McKenna) Lott, of West Chester, formerly of Broomall and Yeadon, PA passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 88. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Marie (nee Walsh) and Thomas McKenna.  ‘Ginny’ was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School, Class of 1954.  Predeceased by husband Thomas F. Lott, with whom she shared 61 wonderful years of marriage.  Loving mother of William (Karen), Michael (Michele), and Paul (Ellen) Lott.   Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Margaret and brother-in-law George Fries; brother Thomas McKenna; brother-in-law Donald Lott; and sister-in-law Loraine Ott.  Survived by brother-in-law Robert and sister-in-law Connie Lott; brother-in-law Douglass (Moose) Ott; and sister-in-law Connie Lott.

Ginny loved spending time during the summer in Ocean City, NJ., hanging out with her Southwest Philadelphia ‘Sorority’ and cramming all the kids and grandkids (and a few nieces and nephews) into the house, there was never not enough room according to Ginny. Ginny also looked forward to monthly lunches with the Yeadon ‘Mothers Club’ and most recently Monday Mingle with her new and dear friends from Harrison Hill.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ginny’s Funeral Mass on Thursday, January 16, at 11:00 am at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd., West Chester, PA 19380 where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 prior to mass at the SS. Peter & Paul Church.

Interment will follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA
