From Debbie:
My sweetest mother,
For 54 years you loved me unconditionally.
For the last 27 years, our bond became so robust.
Three years ago, we began a journey that has now led you home.
It has been my privilege to walk this trek every step by your side and as close to being a mother as I will ever achieve.
During our trip you taught me how to be patient, selfless and stronger than I ever knew I could be.
Proudly your advocate serving you as best as I could. I believe dad is proud of my care of his favorite gal.
I'd love to see the moment you two reunited. So beautiful, so long overdue.
My life, heart and my soul are so much better for having you as a mother. I am forever changed.
From Larry:
Mom,
You weren't there for my birth but you gave me life.
Psalm 23:6 reads,
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." And now mom you are where you have been waiting to go, and the rewards of an eternity in heaven.
Thank You for my life.
