Victor R. Ficarra

Victor Richard Ficarra, age 68 passed away on January 8, 2023 in Paoli Hospital. Born in Passaic, N.J. was the son of the late Bartholomew M. and Elaine E. (nee Holster) Ficarra. He had Down Syndrome and was always a happy and good natured person. Prior to coming to Glenmoore, PA where he had resided with his brother Paul & Family for almost 10 years, he lived in Toms River, N.J. There, he worked at the Wawa, as a Customer Service Associate, along Route 70. He thoroughly enjoyed his job at the coffee bar and was liked and praised by the community for his amiable and engaging personality. 

He loved going out to breakfast, listening to music, playing instruments, reading comic books and watching his favorite TV series and movies. He also enjoyed his daily walks out to the mailbox and greeting any and all visitors to his home. Through his younger years, he participated in workshops, bowling and dancing at special events.

He is survived by his three siblings -- Joyce Kokinchak, Paul Ficarra and Bart Ficarra. Others who were close to him include his sister-in-laws Jeanilyn and Tracy, Mary, as well as his niece and nephew Elaine R. and Victor B. who was named after him. He was always cherished and loved by those he came across, and his lasting impression on the world will be one of great love, care and admiration for family. 

A private memorial service will be held on Saturday January 14, 2023 at 2:30pm at the Logan Funeral Home, 698 East Lincoln Highway, Exton PA. A private interment will be held at a later date.
