Tom E. Shiffer

Tom E. Shiffer, 87, of Havertown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at KeystoneCare Hospice in Wyndmoor, PA.

He was the father of the late Adam Shiffer, brother to the late Tim Shiffer the late Janet Smith. He was also preceded by his first wife, the late Carol Lenhardt.

Tom is survived by his wife, Ann L. Shiffer (nee Fray), son, Matthew J. Shiffer (Jeannette), four grandchildren, sister, Linda Renninger, and many nieces and nephews.

Tom wished to be remembered as, in his words, a man of joy. He loved his family, church, and Maker. He loved spending time with friends playing Bridge, listening to music, and having long conversations. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and sitting in Ann’s garden. Tom was an active member of the church choir for 50 years.

Visitation: Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10:00-11:00 am, Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Road, Broomall, PA 19008.

Memorial Service: Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 11:00 am, Logan-Videon Funeral Home.

Burial: Private.

In lieu of flowers, Tom’s family suggests a donation be made in his name to Trinity Lutheran Church.
