Timothy James Miller

Timothy James Miller, age 72, of Chestnuthill Twp. Effort, PA passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, May 30th, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital Monroe Campus in Stroudsburg, PA.

Timothy was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 12th, 1953, a son of the late Thomas Oscar and Eleanor Caroline (Kozlusky) Miller.

He had worked as an Operating Engineer for Clifton Heights Borough in Clifton Heights, PA for many years until retiring.

He was former member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Springfield, PA and St. Eugene's Catholic Church in Primos, PA.

We have been blessed with the presence of Timothy in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his siblings: Robert T. Miller and his wife, Marianne, of Effort, PA; Thomas J. Miller and his wife, Eileen, of Broomall, PA; Nancy Moran and her husband, Robert, of Rehoboth Beach, DE; and Mary Beth Wright and her husband, Scott, of Medford, OR.

Timothy is also survived by his nephews: Robert J. Miller and his wife, Yurika; Thomas O. Miller and his wife, Michelle; Derek Wright and his wife, Chrisato; and Kyle Wright; and by his nieces: Emilee M. Krissinger and her husband, Phillip; Jennifer Miller-Gobrecht and her husband, Drew; Kathleen Duthill and her husband, Timothy; and Erin Wright and her husband, John. He is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences from 10:00 to 10:45am on Friday, June 6th, 2025, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 651 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064 followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00am.

Timothy will be laid to rest beside his parents at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
