Terry R. Moore

Terry R. Moore, age 84 from West Chester passed away on October 29, 2022 surrounded by family at Chester County Hospital. Terry was born on November 10, 1937, to William and Helen Moore and grew up in Bellevue, OH before moving to Broomall, Pa. Terry has two older brothers, Thomas (Tom) and William (Bill) Moore.

Terry was married to Barbara Moore for 55 years until she passed in 2014.  Terry has three children, Terry M. Moore (Married to Rosemary Moore), Jeffrey M. Moore (Married to Karen Moore), and Michelle Baldwin (Married to Dave Baldwin).  He also has seven grandchildren, Danielle Thurston, Christine Moore, Alexandrea (Alex) Thurston, Ashley Moore, Brandon Moore, Katherine (Katie) Baldwin and Alexis (Lexi) Baldwin. 

Terry grew up in Bellevue Ohio and his family moved to Broomall, Pa when his father took a job as an Electrical Engineer. He then graduated from Marple Newtown High school and then went onto college where he played football and received a bachelor’s degree at Franklin and Marshall College.

 He met his wife Barbara in Lancaster, Pa and they got married on June 6, 1959.  They had three children. Terry pursued a career as computer programmer for the University of Penn & Temple University and then transitioned to a career of selling insurance.  Terry was also involved with Boy Scouts when his sons Terry and Jeff were growing up. Terry and Barbara loved the beach, so they retired to Rehoboth Beach Delaware where they spent 15 years.

Terry then moved up to West Chester after the death of his wife to be closer to family.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching old movies and loved watching the Eagles and Phillies. 

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation 10-11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Logan Funeral Home, 698 E. Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA  19341 followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M.
