Sue, 90, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and woman of deep Catholic faith, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 5, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vincent, her son, Vincent T., her parents, Nicola and Giovanna (DiScuillo) DiMarino, in-laws, Nicola and Loreta Armideo, and her siblings, Dominic (Edith), Mary, Anne (Albert) DiMarco, Louis (Splendora), Anthony, Stephen, and son-in-law, Thomas Calvecchio.
Sue was deeply devoted to her family and her Catholic faith. She was a member of Immaculate Conception of Lourdes in Marcus Hook, where she was baptized and married to the love of her life, Vince. After her marriage, she became a member of Saint Donato’s Church in West Philadelphia. For the past twenty-six years, she was a faithful member of Saint Anastasia Church in Broomall.
Sue loved crocheting blankets and shawls for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed doing her crossword puzzles, watching her soap operas, and especially reality TV shows, which she loved discussing with her grandchildren. Sue faithfully prayed her daily Rosary, even when staying at her daughter’s home. She would often say, “I’ll be in the sunroom for an hour saying my rosary and prayers.” She had a strong and unwavering devotion.
Prior to her marriage, Sue worked as a secretary at NU-Car Carriers. After the passing of her husband, she worked at First Pennsylvania Bank as a teller and later in the safety deposit department, worked part-time in retail at Strawbridge, and was a receptionist at Villa Saint Joseph, Darby, for many years.
Sue is survived by her children, Mary (Louis) Conti, JoanMarie Armideo, Lorraine (Joseph) D’Ulisse, and Susan Calvecchio, grandchildren, Louis (Janine) Conti, Matthew (Jason) Wright-Conti, Jennifer (Evan) Basile, Nicole D’Ulisse (Jeremy), John D’Ulisse, Gabrielle D’Ulisse, Marissa Calvecchio, Ava Calvecchio, and Vincent (Kristen) Armideo, great-grandchildren, Anthony, Dina, and Brielle Conti, Madelynn and Mila Wright-Conti, and Evan and Carlo Basile, brother, Joseph (Ruth), and sister-in-law, Barbara. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at Saint Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:30 am, where family and friends may call at 9:00 am.
Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

Sue will be remembered for her quiet strength, deep faith, and the love she shared so generously with her family.
