Steven R. Connor

Steven R. Connor, West Norriton resident, formerly of Yeadon, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the age of 62 at the hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Steven was born on August 28, 1955 to a loving father, Justin Jerome Connor and mother, Rose Jane (Hutchinson) Connor in Darby at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital.  He married the great love of his life Rosemarie “Roe” Reale on September 26, 1981, the union of which brought forth two beautiful children, daughter Nicole and son Shane, both in the month of May. A man with a brilliant mind and a captain of industry Steve graduated from Yeadon High School in 1974, studied architecture at Temple University and went on to exercise his entrepreneurial might in building and running several successful businesses in the aquatic industry.

A loving father and devoted husband, Steve enjoyed cooking, visiting his beloved shore home with family and friends, swimming in the ocean, and was an avid golfer. He enjoyed many happy hours on various golf courses throughout the years with friends and family. In 2008, he and his son were the winners of the annual member-member SpringFord Country Club golf competition. Steve inspired many in his community through his huge and generous heart, providing infinite love and resources to his family, and living by example as a leader in business. Many souls owe their first jobs out of school to this great man. Steven is survived by his wife Roe, daughter Nicole, son Shane and his wife Jess, his sister Joanne and his extended loving family.

A celebration of life reception will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 10 am-1pm at Logan Funeral Home, 57 South Eagle Road, Havertown, PA 19083.
