Sonia Rodriguez Obituary

Sonia Rodriguez 42, of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 8, 2022 due to complications of COVID.

She was born in West Chester, the daughter of Iris Cruz and the late Davy Rodriguez. Sonia grew up in Avondale PA, and graduated from Avon Grove High School. She earned a degree in Liberal Arts from West Chester University and had a fulfilling career as a childcare provider for both Nazarene Daycare and more recently the Goddard School both in West Chester.

In both her work and daily life Sonia was dedicated to the teachings of Jesus. She always put others first and was incredibly generous with everyone that was lucky enough to know her. She brightened the lives of numerous people. She enjoyed learning about cosmetics and hair coloring and enjoyed summer vacations at the shore, describing the beach as her happy place.

She is survived by her brother David
