Silva Saltaga (nee Grizelj), 78, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born on May 25, 1946, in Banjaluka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Silva's journey through life was marked by her immense love, kindness, and the joy she brought to those around her. She was a beacon of warmth, whose wonderful smile and thoughtful nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Silva's life was one of dedication and love. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, and wife. Silva is survived by her loving daughter, Sanela; her adored granddaughters, Vanessa (Deniz), Jasmin (Anton), and Elina (Michael); daughter-in-law Seka, and her treasured great-grandson, Luka. She also leaves behind a sister, two brothers, sisters-in-law, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Silva was predeceased by her beloved husband, Nisvet, her son Zlatko, one sister, and three brothers. The legacy of her love and nurturing will live on through her family, who were the most important to her.
