Shawn Wood

Shawn Wood, 41, previously of Yeadon passed away on September 26, 2020.  Born on January 19, 1979, he was a son of the late James I. and Elaine B. (Nenna) Wood. Shawn was employed in the construction industry for many years, most recently as a union laborer for Local 332. He is survived by his brother, Jimmy Wood and his sister, Tara (Dan) Lucey, former sister-in-law Jocelyn Wood and uncle to Teagan, Maeve, Kaylee, and Madelyn. Also survived by his beloved cat Weezy. Shawn was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Flyers.  He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.  He was a caring, loyal, hardworking, kind soul that only ever wanted to make those around him laugh and love life.   In addition to his extended family of loving aunts, uncles and cousins he leaves behind his 819 crew of lifelong friends, girlfriend Lauren and her boys Jason and Connor.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Logan Funeral Home, Inc., 698 E. Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA 19341.  Interment is private.   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice
