Shane Michael Nunan, Broomall, PA
4/25/1988 – 12/19/2024
Son of Frank W. Nunan and Mary Ellen R. Nunan (Ferrie)
Brother of Frank R. Nunan and his wife, Sheena.
Beloved Uncle to Collin, Carter and Cameron Nunan
Shane will be sorely missed by his many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and dear friend and business partner with NN Innovations, LLC, Jennifer Gaydos Hartman, friends from childhood, school, work and friendships he made from his travels.
Born at Lankenau Hospital and raised in the Highland Park section of Upper Darby.
Graduate of St. Laurence grade school, Monsignor Bonner High School, Delaware County Community College Nursing Program and received his BSN degree from Widener University.
Worked at Bryn Mawr Hospital in the ER and PACU departments. Travel nursing took him to Texas for jobs at Baylor Hospital and Methodist Hospital. Shane was also a Certified Nurse Injector and worked at many Spas in the Dallas area. He started his own company NN Innovations, LLC to manufacture and market his invention of the Toxpro syringe.
Shane was a person that left an impression on with whomever he met. He had a heart of gold and touched the hearts of so many. Shane helped many people in his profession as a nurse and any friend in need. He was always the life of the party. He had a million dollar smile that would light up a room. He was always “dressed to the nines” for pictures and videos. He loved to make people laugh, but most importantly Family was everything to Shane.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Shane’s memory to the True Colors United Foundation 311 West 43rd St 12th fl, New York, NY 10036 or The St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
Services and interment are private.
