Sarah Margaret Reed

Sarah Margaret Reed, 80, of Secane PA, passed away on November 26, 2025.

Sarah was born on October 10, 1945 to Isabel and Robert Reed in Pittsburgh, PA. Sarah studied English at Penn State University. After graduating, she started her career as a high school English teacher in the Philadelphia School District. She enjoyed both teaching and reading literature. She also enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter Abigail and watching her grow. Other interests included socializing, shopping and spoiling any cat that crossed her path.

Sarah is survived by her daughter Amanda Buzby (Christopher Rothermel) and granddaughter Abigail Rothermel.

A memorial gathering will be held at Logan-Videon Funeral Home on January 3, 2026, starting at 11 AM.
