Rosemary Anne (Mingey) Menseck

Rosemary Anne Menseck (nee Mingey) of Garnet Valley PA passed away peacefully on Saturday March 11, 2023, at the age of 75. Born July 5, 1947 to the late Thomas and Margaret Mingey.  Loving mother of Richard (Michelle) Menseck.  Loving grandmother of Mikaela and Rebecca Menseck.  Beloved sister of Thomas (Claire), James (Nancy), William (Susan), Edward (Susan), Robert (deceased), Margaret Knode (Terry), Nancy Robinson (Michael), Kathy Shomo, Timothy, and Patrick.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  

Rose was a great woman.  She will be remembered and missed by everyone who knew her, especially her son, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, her siblings and their families.  She was a giving person that was always the first to offer a helping hand.  Her willingness to do for others was unmatched.  Rose loved to spend time with her granddaughters as well as the many nieces and nephews she watched grow up over the years.  She worked as an appraiser for most of her adult life and continued to do so until the time of her passing.  It was a career well fit for her as it allowed her to run her own business and, at the same time, teach and mentor others to help develop their careers.   Rose was also an avid golfer who enjoyed playing and watching golf regularly.  She will be missed dearly by her Penn Oaks and Hershey’s Mill families who were a huge part of her life.    

Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Rose’s life 12:00 - 4:00 P.M. Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Penn Oaks Golf Club, 150 Penn Oaks Drive, West Chester, PA 19382. 

In lieu of flowers, we would request you make donations to Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania to honor Rose’s love for her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
