Rosemary (Canning) McMenamin

Rosemary (née Canning) McMenamin 90 of Yeadon, PA passed away peacefully on January 14, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones.

Rosemary was born in Philadelphia,PA. She was the daughter of Irish immigrants. Proud graduate of West Catholic Girls High School where she formed lifelong friendships. She enjoyed time with family and friends, socializing and just having a good time with lots of laughs. Rosemary’s favorite pastime was reading books. She was the oldest active member of the Yeadon Public Library. She also enjoyed vacationing in Sea Isle City and testing her luck at the casinos. Rosemary’s Irish eyes were always smiling when she was with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Loving wife of John E. McMenamin and mother of Anne (Greg) Iannuzzi, William(Joan) McMenamin, Patrick (Christine) McMenamin, Andrew (Kelly) McMenamin, and Rose McMenamin. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, William (deceased) and 5 great-grandchildren. Sister of Jo Canning and Peggy Rios (deceased), James Canning (deceased); also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation, 9:00 -10:15 AM Saturday, January 22, 2022 at St. Louis Church, 821 W. Cobbs Creek Pkwy, Yeadon, PA  19050 followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in the church.
