Rose C. Massaro

Rose C. Massaro, at the age of 98, passed away on July 2, 2022 at her home at White Horse Village, where she resided for 18 years.

Rose is survived by her children, Barbara M. Massaro, Michael R. Massaro, Jr., and Michelle R. Taylor, along with her six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

She was married to the late Michael R. Massaro, Sr. for over 50 years. Rose said that the best moment of her life was the day her husband finally retired. They traveled to Italy, tracing their family heritage. They also traveled in the United States, which included Hawaii. Their favorite outing was the weekly bus trip to Atlantic City.

Rose was an active resident at White Horse Village, where she touched many people’s lives.

Visitation: Friday, July 8, 2022, from 10:00-10:45 am at St. Mary Magdalen Parish, located at 2400 North Providence Road, Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Mass: Friday, July 8, 2022, at 11:00 am at St. Mary Magdalen Parish.

Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, located at 626 Baily Road, Yeadon, PA 19050.

In continuum with her generosity to St. Jude Hospital, Rose’s family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Rose’s name to St. Jude Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
