Robert "Robbie" Quinn

Robert “Robbie” Quinn, 58, of Drexel Hill, PA peacefully passed away on August 7, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.

Robbie attended St. Katherine’s Day School and graduated from the Upper Darby School District. He was a dedicated employee for Elwyn and Bridgewaters in Media, PA along with his numerous friends.

A lifelong member of Special Olympics, he enjoyed bowling, track, swimming, basketball, bocce, a host of social activities and represented Team USA in Athens, Greece.

An avid Beatles fan, he played the drums and walked across Abbey Road while visiting England. Robbie also had a private meeting with Ringo Starr when he toured Philadelphia.

A lover of animals, music, the Phillies, Eagles, hoagies, Special Vacations, a cold beer, and a good party, his gentle spirit and witty sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The Quinn family would like to thank Community Interactions and Brian’s House for their assistance in caring for Robbie in his later years.

Robbie is survived by brothers and sisters, James (Nancy), David (Karen), Helen (Pat Tursi), John (Terry), Stephen (Terri), William (Lynne), Andrew (Theo), Daniel (Kelly), Kathleen (Rocco Arcaro), and Mary (David Wells), 38 nieces and nephews, and 20 grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his parents John W. and Kathleen (Mathers) Quinn,and siblings Christine Greenawalt (Mark), Michael Quinn, and Regina Zimmerman (Len).

Friends may call Wednesday, August 13, 2025 between 6:00 and 8:00 PM at Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Road, Broomall PA 19008. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 Providence Road, Media, PA 19063 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
