Robert Samuel Campanaro went to his heavenly home on April 20th, 2026. Bob was born in 1936, was the son of Italian immigrants and a proud product of South Philadelphia, Wynnewood and Broomall, PA. He attended Upper Darby High School, where he distinguished himself as a three-letter man and was honored as Best Athlete.
Robert went on to serve his country as a Marine and pursued his passion for sports by playing minor league baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. Following his athletic career, he became a successful entrepreneur, owning and operating a well-known hair salon on the Main Line.
Above all, Robert was a devoted father and grandfather who took great pride in his family. He was known for his storytelling and quick sense of humor, always ready with a joke and able to bring laughter to those around him. Robert will be remembered for his strong unwavering faith, humor, athleticism, work-ethic & his dedication to his family.
He he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Miriam, and son, Robbie, and is survived by his daughter, Dana and his two grandsons, Tyler & Jason.
He will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed.
