Robert "Bob" Joseph Pennoni, age 75, of Chester Springs, passed peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, March 7, 2023, at home with his family by his side after a valiant battle with Pancreatic cancer. Bob was born in Wilkes Barre, Pa, Luzerne County, on September 24, 1947, a son of Amerigo and Ruth (nee Jennings) Pennoni. He attended and graduated from Sacred Heart School in Plains, PA and was a graduate of King's College in Wilkes Barre. He later earned his master's degree in Mangement from Penn State University. He was first employed by Price Waterhouse in Philadelphia. After a successful career in finance, he retired from Teleflex Inc. in Limerick, PA in 2013.
Bob was also a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during Vietnam before being honorably discharged. He was also a member of the Friend's Association of West Chester.
In addition to his beloved wife, Elaine (nee Thomas) Pennoni, Bob is survived by his two children, Hilary A. Pennoni of Phoenixville, PA, and Amerigo A. Pennoni of Charleston, SC. Also surviving are three siblings, Henry Pennoni of Plains, PA, Maribeth Pennoni of Hamden, CT and Andrew Pennoni and his husband Richard Earnest of Sugarloaf, PA.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 1:00PM at Logan Funeral Home, 698 E Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA 19341 with Monsignor Ralph Chieffo as celebrant. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home before the service from 11:30 AM until 1:00PM.
