Robert P. McGonagle

McGonagle, Robert P. (Bob), entered into eternal life on September 3, 2025.

Son of Frank and Ann McGonagle (deceased) he was also pre-deceased by his 2 brothers, 2 sisters and his devoted wife Susan.  He is survived by his loving children Corey Lynn Calter (Glenn Kaino), Amanda Kulessa (David), his son Robert Alexander and his grandchildren Sadie, Stella, Liam, Ingrid, Eden and Freya, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bob graduated from Northeast High School, was in the Navy during Vietnam and received an honorable discharge. He and his wife Susan were very involved in the Queen Village Association in Philadelphia and helped plan many activities to improve parks and playgrounds in the area.

He was the owner of the Robert McGonagle Construction Company and was a partner with his wife in her interior design business.

Bob was a long time resident of Philadelphia, but spent the last two years at St. Martha’s Villa in Downingtown with his devoted dog Romeo.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation 10:30am, Saturday, October 11, 2025 at St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct., West Chester, PA, 19382, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00am. Interment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
