Robert E. Burke

Robert (Bob) E. Burke, 83, of West Chester, passed away on August 29, 2020.  He was the widower of Louise P. (Pedone) Burke who passed away May 25, 2014.  Born in New Haven, CT, he was a son of the late John and Florence (Clark) Burke.  Bob was a veteran of the United States Navy, attaining the rank of Seaman Second Class.  He spent many years working as an engineer, sale representative and sales manager for Cutler Hammer, Eaton and Pacific Scientific before retiring to start TMS Associates, a manufacturer’s representative firm.  He is survived by two sons; Joseph R. (Amy) and Robert W. (Cathy) daughter; Melissa and six grandchildren; Natalie, Ryan, Claire, Joseph, Brynn and Patrick.  His family fondly remembers his smile and laugh, his stories and jokes, and his strong love of family.  He was proud of his children and grandchildren’s accomplishments in life.  More than anything, the depth of his love for his beloved wife Louise defined him.  They are now together again for all time.  Services and interment private at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and the West Chester Food Cupboard.  Logan Funeral Homes, Inc.-Exton in charge of arrangements.  www.loganfuneralhomes.com
