Robert Bitner, Jr Obituary

Robert James Bitner, Jr., better known as Bob, Jimmy, or Spanky will be remembered for his humor and ability to make everyone around him laugh. On May 13, 2023, at the age of 61, Bob passed away in Broomall, Pennsylvania, surrounded by the love of his family after a long brave battle.

Born on March 4, 1962, in Philadelphia, Bob had a heart of gold. He was the beloved husband of Donna Marie (nee Young) Bitner, a devoted father to Robert C. "Bobby" Ayres and his wife, Tricia, and Brittany Ann Bitner, and a proud grandfather to Justin P. Wajda, Cora L. Ayres, and Ryah Q. Ayres. Bob was also a loving brother to Carol Ann Smith and Margaret Ann Paludi.

Bob's love for cars led him to become a Master Auto Technician at Sloane Toyota of Malvern, where he could fix just about anything with four wheels. His coworkers and customers alike appreciated his quick wit and ability to find humor in even the most stressful situations. As the saying goes, "laughter is the best medicine," and Bob was the perfect prescription for a case of the Mondays.

Bob was known for his funny, handy, and spirited personality. When he wasn't busy making people laugh or fixing cars, Bob could often be found hunting or training his German Shorthaired Pointer dogs or camping with his friends and family.

Bob's spirited nature extended to his love for sports, especially his beloved Philadelphia Eagles. His passion for the game was infectious, and he shared it with his friends, children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories and bonds through their shared love of the game. Win or lose, Bob's enthusiasm never waned, and his family and friends will always cherish those moments spent cheering on their favorite team together.

As a husband, father, and pop-pop, Bob's love for his family knew no bounds. He was a constant source of support and encouragement. His legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will continue to bring smiles to the faces of his loved ones.

As we remember and celebrate the life of Robert James Bitner, Jr., let us hold onto the laughter and joy he brought to our lives. His memory will live on in the funny stories we share, the jokes we tell, and the love we have for one another. Rest in peace, Bob, and thank you for the endless laughter and love you brought into the world.
