Richard H. Colvin

Richard H. Colvin, passed away peacefully on September 10th, 2021.  Born in Philadelphia, PA  in 1946 to the late Andrew and Eleanor (nee McDowell) Colvin.  Rick was a dedicated and loving husband to Jeannie for 51 amazing years.  He was a graduate of John Bartram High School in 1964.  He started his own business Info-Graphix Inc. in 1985, which he successfully led until his retirement in 2012 when he stepped back to let his son, Richard, take over the business.

Richard was a very fun loving, supportive husband, father, and grandfather who loved nothing more than spending time with his family whether it be a sporting event, school function or on the beach in Ocean City, NJ.  He was an avid reader who enjoyed golf trips with his friends and traveling with his wife Jeannie.

Rick married Jeannie in 1971, whom he met and fell in love with at a Drexelbrook dance.  He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jeannie (nee McLaren) Colvin, by his children, Maureen (Rob) McHugh, Heather (Alex) Trebelev, Richard (Jenn) Colvin and Jacqueline (Mark) Toto.  He is also survived by 12 grandchildren who were the lights of his life: Belle, Owen, Alexandra, Colin, Katie, Meredith, Elle, Keira, Gavin, Dylan, Brynn and Grant. Loving brother of Andrew (Dolores) Colvin and the late Larry (Marie) Colvin.   

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 17th at St. Dorothy's Church, 4910 Township Line Rd (corner of Burmont & Township Line Rds), Drexel Hill, PA  19026 where friends may call 11:30 A.M. - 12:45 P.M. at the church.  Interment Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA  19064.
