Richard “Rick” Alan Baker, 74, of Drexel Hill, passed away on Monday, April 25th, 2022 at Lankenau Hospital, Wynnewood. He was the loving husband of Louise D. Hayne Baker.

Born in Omaha, Nebraska on August 30, 1947 to his biological mother, Delta (nee Wildman) Orthman and his adopted parents, the late Robert and Anna Luise (nee Schnitter) Baker, he was a graduate of Santa Clara High School, Santa Clara University, University of Utah and the Dept. of Defense, Language Institute.

Rick achieved the rank of Captain in the US Army, 1st Battalion, 83rd Artillery. He entered the Army in July of 1969 and served in Bad Kreuznach, Germany until he was honorably discharged in June of 1975.
