Regina R. (McAvey) Walsh

It is with heavy hearts that we let you know of the passing of Regina "Rachael"  (nee McAvey) Walsh on April 9, 2025 at the age of 81.  She was the loving wife of the late Bill Walsh, of Schuylkill.  Devoted and loving sister of Elizabeth "Betsy" and the late Richard Conn, and Dolores & Joe Walsh.  Survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.  Our Rachael was the cherished daughter of William & Marie McAvey.  Rachael worked for Joseph B. Callaghan & Company for over 20 years.  She enjoyed being with people. 

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation 9-9:45 A.M. Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Saint Francis Xavier Church, 2319 Green Street, Philadelphia, PA  19130 followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M.  Interment Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pennsylvania.  

In lieu of flowers, family prefers contributions be made to the Convent of Divine Love, 2212 Green Street, Phila, PA  19130 or St. Francis Xavier the Oratory, 2319 Green Street, Phila, PA  19130.
