Regina S. Grisillo

The world is a little less shiny with the passing of Regina S. Grisillo (nee Bosack) at age 71 on October 4, 2022. Regina was known for her big hugs and wonderful smile. Always one to be there when you needed her, she left an indelible mark on those who met her. She was one who would strike up a conversation with a stranger, genuinely interested to learn about them but also to brag about her family.

Regina inspired numerous people as a ceramics instructor in Yeadon. Many people enjoy sharing the pieces of ceramic they made with her or were given to them by her. Regina continued life as a business owner running two supermarkets affectionately known as Grisillo's Thriftway. Regina was known to feed you, even when you weren't hungry, and loved sharing fine wine and cocktails with her family and friends.

Regina was predeceased by her daughter Christina S. McCarthy (nee Grisillo) and her son Paul Grisillo and other family members.

Survived by her loving husband of almost 53 years, Anthony J. Grisillo, her two sons and their wives, Anthony E. and Becca Grisillo, John and Courtney Grisillo, her son-in-law and his wife, Kevin and Lisa McCarthy, along with her four grandchildren Zachary McCarthy, Christina J. Grisillo, Danielle Grisillo, and Benedict Grisillo, Regina was a rock for their family instilling a love for life in them all. She will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 9:30-11:00 AM including visitation and a short memorial service at Logan's Funeral Home in Broomall (2001 Sproul Road, Broomall, PA 19008). It will be followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon (626 Baily Rd, Yeadon, PA 19050). A gathering of friends and family will occur at La Locanda Ristorante (4989 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073) at 1:30 PM.
