Nancy Nangle Obituary

Nancy Joan Nangle (nee Stiles), of Malvern, PA, passed peacefully from this life on May 2, 2026. Nancy was predeceased by her husband Paul Nangle, Jr.  Paul and Nancy met while attending Brown University and, after graduating, they married and moved to Chicago where they started their family. They ultimately settled in Madison, CT where they raised their three children.

Nancy was an active volunteer while her children were growing up, serving as a Sunday school teacher and vestry member at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, as an aide in the Madison school system, and with the Madison Visiting Nurse Association where she served as president.

When her children were older, Nancy and her husband purchased the Leeds Conveyor Manufacturing Company which they ran together until retirement.  After which Nancy devoted her time to caring for her husband and her garden, spending time with family, and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren - not necessarily in that order. After her husband passed in 2012, Nancy moved to Clinton, CT and then to Malvern, PA.

Nancy is survived by her three children: Elizabeth Nettleton (Robert), Susan Nangle (James Carrigan), and Paul Nangle III; eight grandchildren: Sarah Nettleton (Scott Gilmore), Robert Nettleton III, Donald Nettleton (Geneva Sparacio), Genevieve Reed (Myron), Katherine Wright, Alexandra Wright, Paul Nangle IV (Kailey), and Vaughn Nangle; and 8 great-grandchildren: Dakota Cooper, Declan Nettleton, Blakely Nettleton, Carter Reed, Addison Reed, Tanner Carrigan, Brewer Carrigan and Case Carrigan.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at St. Francis In-The-Field Episcopal Church in Malvern, PA on Saturday, May 30th at 10 AM. Interment will take place at West Cemetery in Madison, CT on Saturday, June 6th at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Main Line Health HomeCare and Hospice at mainlinehealth.org
