Miguel Ortiz, 78, of Exton died on August 20th at Paoli Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Kimberly Ortiz (Nee Roth), loving father of Melinda of Philadelphia and Michael of State College, dear Pop-pop to Erica, Billy, Elisa, Olivia and Jayden and devoted Great Pop-pop to George and Dolly. He was the son of the late Gilberto and Hilda Ortiz and was also predeceased by his sister Lydia and grandson John Anthony. In addition to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, he is also survived by four brothers and six sisters.
A decorated Army veteran, Miguel served his country during the Vietnam War and had a long career as a transportation specialist with the Temple Health System
Miguel loved taking long walks with his dog Lobo, enjoyed Spanish music, working out with weights, any western show and above all reading the Bible. His favorite passion though was just being Pop-pop and spending time with his family.
Family and friends are invited to his visitation at the Logan Funeral Home, 698 E Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA 19341 on Saturday, August 28th at 12:00 noon and to his Memorial Service starting at 1:00pm.
