Michael L. Paytas, Jr.

Michael L. Paytas Jr., 52, of Broomall passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 2, 2026.  He was a loving husband and father to Christina, Michael, and Kaitlyn.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Michael L., Sr and Diana T. Paytas of Broomall.

Michael grew up in Clifton Heights, graduated from Upper Darby High School, and was employed by Springfield Township Public Works.  He was an avid Penn State and Philadelphia Sports fan.

Michael is survived by his wife Christina (Mathis) of 25 years, his son Michael V., his daughter Kaitlyn J., his parents Michael L., Sr. and Diana T. (DiGiulio), and his brother Nicholas (Colleen) and Christopher.  Michael’s memory will also be carried forward by his extended family and friends.

Visitation with family and friends will be held Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 PM and Monday, March 9, 2026, from 9:00-10:30 AM with a service beginning at 10:30 AM, all to be held in Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Road, Broomall, PA 19008.
