Michael Edward O'Donnell Sr.

Michael (Mike) Edward O’Donnell Sr. passed away at home onJune 12, 2021 in Chester County, PA at the age of 59. Born on October 28, 1961, Mike was raised in Cherry Hill, NJ, and later moved to Chester County, PA after meeting his beloved wife Narah at work. 

He is survived by his loving wife Narah, his son Michael (Mike) Jr., his daughter Samantha and son-in-law Dylan, grandson Parker, his mother Shirley, and his siblings Robert (Bob), Karen, Christine (Cook) and Frank. He is predeceased by his father Robert. 

Mike loved life to his very core. In the O’Donnell household, Mike would never waste a day, whether it was travelling the globe with friends and family, golfing, renovating every room in his home multiple times, or simply taking care of his yard. He was known to always have a solution and could be relied on for anything at any time. 

Mike and his brother Frank started O’Donnell’s Painting over 3 decades ago. Their paint contracting business not only flourished into a lifelong business that allowed them to provide for their family, but it gave them the opportunity to travel the country as Mike, Frank, and their crew painted numerous larger than life industrial tanks and manufacturing sites. In the area, it wasn’t uncommon for Mike to drive by a Wawa and say, “We just finished that Wawa last week.”

If there was a party or event, whether a few friends at a restaurant, or dozens of people at a celebration, Mike and Narah would be there ready to have a good time and laugh. They made friends wherever they went, and Mike would often have their weekends jam-packed with people to meet and adventures to have. He is deeply missed, and his memory will be honored at every family gathering in the future. 

Friends and family are invited to join Visitation and Services at Logan Funeral Home, 698 E. Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA  19341 followed by the Committal at St Agnes Cemetery. Immediately following the Committal, friends and family are invited to Mike’s Celebration of Life at Downingtown Country Club at 93 Country Club Drive, Downingtown, PA 19335.
