Mary "Pat" Gregg Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing Pat Johnston Gregg, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Gran), and friend.

Born and raised in Collingdale, Pennsylvania, Pat spent most of her adult life between Newark, Delaware, and Exton, Pennsylvania, building a life centered around family & friendship. She enjoyed a successful career in administration and often spoke fondly of her time at Rob’s Towing & James Chevrolet, where she formed lasting friendships and took great pride in her work before retiring.

She was incredibly artistic and creative, but her greatest hobby and passion was drag racing. Whether she was at the track, supporting her racing family, or working as part of the pit crew, she loved the excitement, camaraderie, and lifelong friendships the sport provided.

Those who knew her will forever remember her infectious laugh, one that could brighten any room and bring smiles to everyone around her. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable ability to strike up a conversation with anyone she encountered. She will be remembered for her outgoing spirit, genuine kindness, and love of being surrounded by friends and family.

Above all else, she cherished her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a devoted wife to James “Jimmy” Gregg, with whom she shared 23 wonderful years of marriage. She was also the loving companion of her loyal dog, Stella, who faithfully shared her life for the past 15 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Janvier (Jamie) and Katie McCormick (Glenn); her stepchildren, Kristina Kuzmick (Kris), Heather Weitzenkorn (Dave), and Jimmy Gregg (Kelly); and her beloved grandchildren: Aidyn, Claudia, Claire, Chloe, Landon, Parker, Morgan, Ryan, Emily, Leah, and Sophie.

Pat’s legacy is one of laughter, unwavering love, and loyalty. While she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Forever loved. Forever remembered.
