Mary Lynn Biondolillo Obituary

Mary Lynn (Coleman) Biondolillo, (90) of Hershey’s Mill in West Chester, PA passed away January 13, 2021. She was born on July 16th, 1930 in Hornell, NY and grew up in Elmira, NY graduating from Southside High School. She received a degree in Elementary Education and Library Science from SUNY at Geneseo where she met and married her college sweetheart, Andrew (Andy) C. Biondolillo. They had been married for 68 years.

Besides her husband, Andy, she is survived by her son, Michael (Deborah) of West Chester PA, and late son Samuel’s wife, Sharon, of Sturbridge MA, her sister Carol (John) Grim of Syracuse, NY, her sister and brother in law, Mary Ann and Glenn Dalrymple of Mt. Morris, NY.

Mary Lynn was a loving and supportive “Grandma” to Michael’s children: Meredith (Scott) Kurzinsky, Peter (Ryan Obermeier), and Caroline Biondolillo as well as Samuel’s children: Matthew, Samantha and Kelsea Biondolillo, as well as a great grandmother to Ryder Samuel and Scarlett Ryan Kurzinsky.

She was a very passionate, caring, kind and supportive elementary school teacher for over 27 years. She touched the lives of over 1,000 students and their families in various upstate New York cities (Jeffersonville, Elmira, Greenville, Manlius, Jamesville-Dewitt, and Ft. Edward).

She really enjoyed traveling with Andy especially to Italy and Ireland. She liked playing golf at Hersheys Mill Country Club, and really loved her weekly mahjong games with her good friends. Mary Lynn was an avid fan of all Philly sports since moving to the region in 1998 and had a habit of covering her eyes and just listening at critical times in games. In addition, she was a faithful long time member of St. Peter and Paul Parish.

Mary Lynn is now reunited with her son Samuel in heaven and will be missed by all that loved her. May she rest in peace.
