Mary Kane Weist passed away after a courageous battle with cancer and other causes on April 20, 2026. She left peacefully, with her daughter by her side. The cause of death was lung pulmonary related.
Mary was an active member in book club and the Red Hats Club. She had many friends. She worked from her early years as a professional paralegal for the judiciary of Pennsylvania. Mary loved to work and be a part of her community. She loved her job on the bus for the school district and often said her beloved coworkers were like family. She was loved by many and had an untouchable sense of humor.
She attended St. Hubert's Catholic High School in Philadelphia. She is survived by her children Teresa and Michael and three grandchildren, Dalia, Cira and Jack, and brothers Vincent, Richard, Charles and Edward Kane. She is predeceased by her sister Florence and parents Helen and Edward Kane with whom she is now reunited in heaven.
