Mary Teresa Ross

Mary Teresa (Terry) Ross, 61, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026. She was born on February 28, 1964, at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Terry was the daughter of the late Jerome Samuel Ross, Sr., and Joyce Lynn (Adams) Ross. She was a graduate of Cardinal O’Hara High School. 

Her greatest joy was her cherished daughter, Samantha, to whom she devoted her life. Her love was evident to everyone who knew her, and there was nothing that meant more to her than being called Mom.

In addition to her devoted mother, Joyce, she is survived by her beloved daughter, Samantha, and her siblings Darcey Ross Doyle (Patrick), Jerome Samuel Ross, Jr. (Margaret), Michael Francis Ross (Michele), and Erin Lynn Gibbons (Thomas), along with many nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 6th, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. at SS. Philip and James Parish Church.  The internment will be private.   

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 2130 Franklin Avenue, Morton, PA 19070, in recognition and deep gratitude for the compassion of Reverend Monsignor John M. Savinski, for the empathy and support given to her and her daughter.
