Mary Ann Browne, 93, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, in Wynnewood, PA. She was born on November 14, 1931, in Altoona, PA.
Mary was a high school graduate who spent many dedicated years working as a dental receptionist. Her warm smile and kind spirit left a lasting impression on both colleagues and patients, making her a beloved presence in the workplace and beyond.
A devoted member of Manoa Community Church, Mary served faithfully in the nursery department for over 25 years. Her gentle care and joyful spirit made a lasting impact on generations of families—so much so that she lovingly tended to the children of those she had once cared for as children. Her presence was a quiet but powerful testimony to her steadfast love and commitment to others.
She is lovingly survived by her son, Paul Browne, and her daughter, Norma Browne. Mary was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Thomas R. Browne, and her beloved parents, John and Catherine Ruth (née Snyder) Soder.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, May 6th, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Manoa Community Church, 153 N. Eagle Rd., Havertown, PA 19083. A Celebration of Mary’s Life will follow at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary’s name to Manoa Community Church or to a charity of your choice.
