Mark Edward Boudrie, 66, passed away suddenly on April 27, 2026, peacefully in his home in Exton, Pennsylvania. His untimely departure at a young age has created a deep void for his family, friends, colleagues, and all who knew him in the community.
Born in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, he was the son of Janet (Beard) Boudrie and the late James Boudrie. In the following years, he became a brother to Lisa Reynolds, Karen Boudrie, and David Boudrie. Throughout his life, he remained a devoted son and a constant source of support for his siblings, taking great pride in his role as the eldest brother.
Mark graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Post college, Mark began his career with Progressive insurance which grew into joint ownership of a successful insurance agency. Two decades later, he switched career paths to real estate and began working at FedEx. Mark’s slogan became “Advise, Coach, and Council”, helping him earn the fierce respect and loyalty of those around him. Through his stellar leadership, he taught his family and colleagues that with a strong work ethic you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.
In 1991, Mark moved to Exton to start a family with his then wife Nancy Gentle Boudrie. They welcomed their first child, Emma, in 1997 soon followed by their son, James, in 2000. Mark embraced fatherhood right away, devoting himself fully to his children and rarely missing an opportunity to be part of their lives. Whether he was coaching youth sports, supporting his children's programs, or simply throwing a ball in the backyard and sharing in their laughter, he was always there. Evenings were often filled with the excitement of family game nights, bowls of ice cream, and the comfort of home cooked meals he lovingly prepared, creating lasting moments his family will always cherish.
Outside of fatherhood, he had a deep passion for the outdoors and the water, spending time sailing in the Chesapeake Bay and dreaming of future adventures. He loved being near any body of water, whether he was walking along the beach, fishing, swimming, exploring marinas, or baking in the sun. He also enjoyed biking, playing pickup basketball, listening to music, and cheering on his favorite Philadelphia and Ohio State teams. A proud dog dad to Valor, who was rarely far from his side, he embraced life with warmth and enthusiasm, finding happiness in time spent with family, good food, and the simple things in life.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Please be sure to check on this notice for updates.
