Margaret Mary Borlase

On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, Margaret (Marge) Weiser Borlase, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away at the age of 90 with her daughters at her bedside.  Marge was born on February 26, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA to Gerard and Frances Weiser.  She was married to William G. Borlase for 39 years and together they raised three daughters, Deborah (Lutz), Sandra (Brown)( deceased), and Karen (Wilkins).

Marge had a passion for gardening, often spending hours tending to her many gardens.  She also was an avid reader and enjoyed volunteering at the local hospital. She had an optimistic point of view and was always will to lend a helping hand.  As her family grew, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and later her great-grandchildren.

Marge is preceded in death by her husband, William, and their daughter Sandra. She is survived by two daughters: Deborah (Lutz) of West Chester and Karen (Wilkins) of Exton, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28th, at Sts. Philip and James church in Exton with viewing at 10:00-11:00 and Mass at 11:00.  In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to a charity of your choosing or to Compassus Hospice. https://www.compassus.com/about-us/giving-and-donations
