Mammen T. Thomas

Mammen T. Thomas from Mozacheril Thundiyil House was born in 1939 in Amichakary, Tiruvalla, India to parents Chacko Mammen and Annamma Mammen (both deceased).  He was the youngest of 7 children.  He is survived by his wife Mariamma, daughter Shannon, son-in-law Annu, granddaughter Abigail, grandson Noah and many nieces and nephews. 

He received his Pre-degree from Mar Thoma College and his Diploma in Homoeopathy from Athurasramam N S S Homoeopathic Medical College in Kottayam India.  He emigrated to the United States in 1976 to join his wife and settled in New Jersey for almost 50 years. God blessed him with a loving family, cherished friends and fortunately good health for the majority of his life.  He also had the privilege of being a part of the St. Stephen’s Mar Thoma Church.  He was called to rest on June 5, 2025 and joins his parents in eternity along with his older siblings: Sarma Chandy, James T Mammen, Joseph T Mammen, T. M John, Aleyamma Mammen, Mariamma Koshy.

He greatly appreciated all the friends, family, members of both the St. Stephen's and St. Thomas Church of Delaware Valley who called or visited him as his health declined in recent months. We are especially grateful to Rev. Arun Samuel Varghese, Rev. Philipose John and the members of both churches who performed a service while he was in the ICU. We are thankful to everyone for uplifting our family in prayer during this time.
