Lucy (Cerrone) Russo

Lucy (Cerrone) Russo, of Warrington, PA passed away on September 25, 2022, at the age of 92. Born and raised in South Philadelphia. Married to the late Salvatore A. Russo where they resided in Philadelphia and Yeadon. Survived by five of her children, Salvatore and his wife, Dina, Maria Lovell, Loretta Brennan, Joseph and his wife, Janice, Michael and his wife, Sara. Predeceased by her son Thomas. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 3 grandchildren.

Sister of Carmella Mazzuca, Anthony, Mary Ann Salvitti, Florence Terrifay, and predeceased by father Joseph Cerrone, mother Maria Cerrone and siblings Michael, Nicholas, Agustine, Rocco, and Francis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Lucy was a loving wife and mother, an avid walker, gardener, cook and helper of anyone in need.

Relatives are invited to a Private Visitation 10:00 - 10:45 AM and Friends are invited 10:45-11:15 AM Friday, September 30, 2022, at St. Irenaeus Church, 7200 Grovers Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19153, followed by Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA 19050. In lieu of flowers, family request contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Delaware Valley, 399 Market Street #102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
