Louis Gandy

Louis "Lou" Gandy, 50, of Secane, passed away at home on June 17th, 2022. He was a son of Catherine Mary Stokes and Donald Heintz.

He was born in Philadelphia on August 7, 1971.

Surviving are a son, Robert Murray; daughter, Michaelena Santarlas; sister, Cynthia "Cyndie" Gandy-Higbee of Anchorage, AK;  brother, William "Bill" H. Vancik, Jr. of Maricopa, AZ; and aunt, Marie Rogers of Philadelphia.

Also surviving are many cousins and great friends!

Lou loved fishing. He had a heart of gold, and he has touched the hearts of so many people. Lou loved talking with all of his nieces and nephews. If you knew Lou, you knew you were blessed with his deep belly laugh and his million-dollar smile.

Lou would want us all to smile and keep our thoughts in a positive light.

A visitation will be Saturday, July 9th, 2022 from 10 to 11:30am in St. Gabriel's Parish, 2917 Dickinson St., Philadelphia, PA 19146. Funeral mass will follow in the church on Saturday at 11:30am.
