Louis DeCicco, III, of Sewell, NJ, formerly of South Philadelphia, passed away suddenly on May 14, 2025, at the age of 60.
A graduate of St. John Neumann High School, Louis was a man deeply devoted to his family and friends. He was the loving husband of Donna (Marano) DeCicco, and the proud and devoted father of Alyssa (Chad) Pohlig and Kristin (Michael) Grajek. Nothing brought him more joy than being “Grand Pop” to his cherished grandson, Lucas Charles Pohlig.
Louis was the beloved brother of Helen (Frank) Branco and Carol (Chris) Newell, and a dear son-in-law to Greg and Kitty Marano. Brother in law of Michele (John) Brady and Paul Marano, along with many adoring nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends who were truly family at heart.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Louis and Germaine “Gerry” DeCicco.
Louis lived life with a deep appreciation for simple pleasures. He loved sitting out back with a cup of coffee, watching the hummingbirds, spending summers with his family in Wildwood, NJ, and hunting at McFadden’s Acres with family and friends. One of his greatest joys in recent years was his regular FaceTime calls with his grandson Lucas, which lit up his days.
Louis will be remembered for his warm heart, quick wit, and deep love for his family. His presence will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass, 11:30 AM, Monday, May 19, 2025 at Holy Family Church, 226 Hurffville Rd., Sewell, NJ 08080.
Friends may call from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM Monday at the church prior to Mass.
Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery.
